Lone Star Hog, a new student-run company, has opened on campus, selling clothing that celebrate being a Texan.
The company was founded by sophomore Hayden Short, who has since brought on sophomore David Stevens, and class of 2013 graduates Matthew Bakke and Matthew Seubert.
“This university has, and has had, a strong population of natural born Texans,” Short said. “Lone Star Hog’s role is to find a way to connect these two cultures in a way never done before. What we have been able to do is create a new culture of a Lone Star soul in a natural state of mind.”
